A one-of-a-kind piece developed from an archived 1970s Italian linen and cotton jacquard, defined by fan-like geometries and decorative rhythms recalling Mediterranean furnishing textiles and summer residence interiors.
Designed on Botteghe Oscure’s iconic workwear jacket silhouette, Palmette moves between garment and decoration, transforming a vintage textile into a contemporary object with a deeply tactile character. The contrast between the face and reverse side of the jacquard creates a visible graphic construction across the collar, pockets and cuffs, enhancing the structure of the weave and its ornamental depth.
Fully lined and finished with beige linen borders, the jacket is completed with handmade natural raffia buttons. Due to the nature of the archived textile, this piece exists as a single edition.
